Fairwater Cons have one hand on the Premier League trophy after an excellent 5-0 win at Trecenydd Snooker maintained their four-point lead over Mackintosh who matched that scoreline at Llandaff Warriors.
It means that a 3-2 win at home to Llandaff Warriors in the last game of the season will be enough for Steve Flanagan’s side to be crowned champions, as Mackintosh have a 5-0 walkover guaranteed over Senghenydd. However, a win for Chris Johnson’s team would hand the title to Mackintosh, although a 3-2 win for Llandaff would result in a play-off for the trophy with both teams level on points and games won.
Canton Libs Z are Division One champions despite a 4-1 win loss at Savoy as Trecenydd failed to gain any ground and Canton Libs B are relegated from the Premier League after a 3-2 home defeat to Cuesaders.
Taff’s Well kept up their strong finish to the season with a 3-2 win against Cathays Cons, whilst Rumney British Legion had a 5-0 walkover against Senghenydd following their withdrawal from the league.
