Thanks to everyone who attended the CDSA AGM & Presentation Night, there was a good turn-out and a very good atmosphere as always. The committee would like to say a huge thank you to Mackintosh Sports’ captain Ronnie Allen whose company Rosetta Sports (www.rosettasports.org.uk) are renewing their sponsorship of the league. We are very grateful to his support, which enable us to continue to strengthen the CDSA and invest in its future.

The following rule change proposals were voted on during the night –

– Players to be able to play competitions in non-CDSA venues (rejected by 10 votes to 1)

– There was also a discussion regarding the etiquette in doubles matches, with the agreement to adhere to the World Snooker rules on the issue.

The CDSA 2023-24 season starts on Thursday 14th September, with fixtures TBC.
